As part of our HR initiatives, we have hosted our customary New Joiners’ Breakfast for team members who have recently joined our ever-growing family.
It is customary for directors to meet up with newcomers from various business areas to discuss ideas and exchange feedback, over a cup of coffee or two. This activity provides a comfortable space for new joiners to share their thoughts and any criticism they might have with senior staff. New ideas are always valued within the Group, even more so, when such recommendations derive from team members who are new to the team as they might see things from a different perspective. During these events, newcomers have time with senior members of management to discuss their new work environment freely, a notion which is a priority for the HR team and Senior Management within the Group.
Initiatives like these also serve as a great opportunity for new employees to get to know each other even more. The event helps develop employee relationships whilst ensuring that our team culture is strengthened. Indeed, CSB Group is a family-run business and considers each team member as part of its extended family. Our team members are not considered as numbers, but on the contrary, it gives the Group great pleasure to build and sustain valuable bonds and establish trust and commitment with one another, at every level.
